Felicia Warden is a school librarian in Tennessee where she is raising her two young girls to be strong and compassionate by teaching them to find beauty in what is different. She is the author of both nonfiction women’s issue books and the children's picture book series The Very Literary Adventures of Remi and Rori. She is currently working on her first young adult fiction novel Kindling.
Her article “Dear Husband, I Love You For All the Little Ways You Care” was selected and published on the women’s issues site Her View From Home in January 2019, and her short memoir “Intruder” was selected for publication on The Manifest-Station in 2019. She recently graduated with her Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing through Southern New Hampshire University during the summer of 2020.
Felicia Warden believes all people should be treated as the human beings that they are which means respecting them enough to make their own choices about their bodies. She uses her writing to draw attention to and provide commentary on mainstream political issues and hopes one day we can all just drink a beer (or sparkling grape juice) together and live in peace.
Fans of her work love to find the answers to these questions that are heavily connected to modern social and political issues. As a school librarian and history fanatic, she loves encouraging her readers to participate in helping discover the possibilities of outcomes that can arise when the status quo is questioned or a specific agenda has been pushed a tad too far. Her current passion lies in bringing her stories to life and sharing her love of writing and reading with children and adults everywhere.
